Individual Therapy

As a therapist trained in Individual Counseling I assist people with many different issues and help them handle their life challenges. In Individual Therapy we work together to help you make changes in your life that may have previously felt too difficult or to modify behaviors which no longer work for you. In a one on one session you can examine your deepest feelings and emotions in a safe and secure space.

Whether it be depression, anxiety, relationship issues, early trauma or just being overwhelmed by daily stressful situations meeting weekly helps to give you time to sort through your feelings and set the course for personal change. Therapy provides an opportunity to better understand ourselves and come to accept ourselves for the one of a kind, original and unique human beings that we are. As we shed light on the unacceptable parts of ourselves we get to free those parts and then take full responsibility for our lives. I employ many different tools from various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Jungian Therapy, Positive Psychology and Gestalt Therapy. I also utilize some eastern techniques which reinforce the mind, body and spirit connection.
