"I dwell in possibility."

Philosophy

Life is a journey. The way we view our personal journey depends on the way we feel about ourselves and the experiences that we’ve had. When we let our experiences define who we are we tend to believe our identity is static. We make our lives small and confined, when we have the potential to expand our possibilities, break free and transform.

If we look at our lifetime of experiences, many have been positive; while others have been difficult and painful. We try to shield ourselves from the pain and end up covering up our true selves with layers of protection. We construct a “story” that leads to not knowing who we are or what we need or want in this lifetime. Of all our relationships, the one we have with ourselves is the most important. As a therapist and life coach, I help people learn about themselves, discover their strengths and unique gifts and then rewrite their story.

I provide support while you face the fears, obstacles or addictions that stop you from taking the risks necessary to become your true self and attain your goals. Self-acceptance and self-love are key to a lifetime of peace and joy. Sometimes negative perceptions of the past cause us to become immobilized and unable to move forward. As a result we may feel overwhelmed, victimized, or hopeless and have difficulty recognizing or asking for what we need. When we become “stuck” it is necessary to learn how to re-frame the way we see our lives. Whether the best method for growth is therapy or life coaching it is imperative that we don’t let fear decide our destiny.

In my therapy and coaching I utilize a combination of Psychodynamic, Emotional Freedom Techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, positive psychology, client centered and the creative art therapies. I also incorporate Eastern practices of mindfulness, meditation, creative visualization and energy healing. I believe that looking at and taking into account the whole person: body, mind and spirit are essential for true healing to occur.

I have many years of experience with addiction, codependency, emotional and mental disorders including anxiety, depression, trauma and interpersonal issues. I have worked toward helping my clients find their life’s purpose, attain self-acceptance and create their best life.

We all have a wise and intuitive part of ourselves: a part that only wants the best for us and never gives up or stops providing signs and clues to help us on our unique path.

I will guide you on your journey to help you realize your highest self. As Socrates said “an unexamined life is not worth living.” I also know that our deepest despair can give way to our greatest joy if we look for opportunities. Our journey can be the adventure of a lifetime with limitless possibilities.

My practice helps you achieve success and step into your personal power.
